Reporting of Injuries / Illness

College Employees

In the event of an employee accident, injury or illness prompt reporting is required.  To clarify and differentiate between the two points of contact with respect to reporting injury / illness the following applies:

  • For accidents, injuries, or illnesses which are work incurred please notify your immediate supervisor, the Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator (Jessica Bossy - Ext. 3434), and the College Nurse (Tracy Wilson - Ext. 3300).
  • For non-occupational injuries, illnesses or medical conditions which result in loss time please notify the Claims & Benefits Manager (Shari McCutcheon - Ext. 3321).

Whether the situation is occupational versus non-occupational will determine the point of contact.

All Return to Work cases will be handled by the Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator as necessary.
